After getting a comment from kristilynk I decided I’ll have a look at the band she said I should check out; Hogjaw. Though I’ve only, personally, heard Southwestern music in films, it was nice to hear one and have time to think about the song. Hells Half Home of Mine is a fine American rock tune to listen to anytime of the day – (but I can mostly imagine myself sitting with my friends at an American bar drinking and having a ball whilst this song is being performed) – an amazing rock song with a hint of Southwestern folk. Looking at their Facebook page here, it’s easy to see everyone loves their music.
