Rainbow Chan – Sanguine

Originally from Hong Kong but now based at Sydney Rainbow Chan has created a calm electronica track called Sanguine – according to Google that means ‘optimistic or positive, especially in an apparently bad or difficult situation’ or ‘blood-red.’ I’m going with the first description for this song. It could be both, who knows! But with the relaxing blip sounds, the smoothness of the rhythm and with her vocals edited up but still flowing beautifully well, I can’t help but feel like it’s an odd but extremely workable choice to use whilst getting romantic or perhaps slowly dancing together – it’s the chorus, whistling and vocal part that makes me think that. It’s a playful, sexy track that’s fresh and wonderfully crafted to sound beautiful to the ears.  You can get a free download by going to her soundcloud page below.
